About Me
Dr. Jenny Curto is a Naturopathic physician and Acupuncturist practicing in Portland, OR. Her clinical training was shaped by a two-year residency at Kwan Yin Healing Arts. She now works with adults navigating complex chronic conditions affecting the gut, immune, and nervous systems. Her clinical focus encompasses all areas of health but she has a special focus on irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), SIBO, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), Ehlers–Danlos syndrome (EDS), and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS).
Having personally navigated chronic illness, Dr. Curto understands how complex and overwhelming it can feel. She brings compassion and curiosity to her work, seeking to understand the underlying patterns behind a condition and developing treatment plans that are clear, realistic, and sustainable. She places strong emphasis on patient education, so patients feel confident participating in their care and rebuilding trust in their bodies.
Dr. Curto continues to pursue training in both complex health conditions and health equity, recognizing that the healthcare system can often feel unwelcoming to BIPOC, LGBTQ+, body-diverse, and neurodiverse individuals. She strives to use every available resource to create an inclusive, affirming, and respectful space for all patients.
Her care integrates naturopathic and Classical Chinese medicine frameworks, herbal and nutritional supplements, acupuncture, nutrition, movement, pharmaceuticals, and lifestyle interventions.
Dr. Curto grew up in North Idaho, spending much of her time exploring the woods, dressing up with her twin and older brother, and staring at the stars. She later moved to Minneapolis, MN, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Education before settling in the Pacific Northwest. In her free time, she purchases more books than she can ever read, makes herbal teas and decoctions in her kitchen, and attempts to paddleboard.
